I love working as a network with other smaller organizations that help folks living with cancer. Here’s a great one that we worked with in August 2013 at our JUICING Jamestown event. Give their Facebook page a view and like them.
Here is another small organization in NC like The Mama Edna Project that does BIG things for folks with cancer. Please like and share their page and help if you can. Battling Life Together – BLT provides care baskets to those in need.

I hope these links are beneficial. Please send me a message to themamaednproject@gmail.com or call Andrew Klutz at 919-780-8669 if you have any questions about specific cancer treatments. Perhaps I can better direct you to the appropriate resources for alternative treatment therapies such as The Gerson Institute.

Today, I am taking a leap forward in the realm of education. I am enrolling in the 18-hour live stream course for the Basics of the Gerson Therapy. This course is not a certification program, but it is a step in that direction. The Gerson Therapy is a non-medical, alternative treatment program for cancer and other chronic illnesses involving juicing, healthy, clean plant-based eating and much more. The course runs from Feb. 20-22, 2014.

Here at The Mama Edna Project, our goal is not only to raise funds to buy juicers and produce and other parts of our “tool kit” (see archived post entitled “Tool Kit”), but we also read a lot out there about integrated nutritional ideas for folks with cancer. We try to link some of the most interesting articles, books, and resources here on our blog as well as on our Facebook page. Please feel free to contact any of us via email with any questions and we will try to direct you to the best resource.
